They found that his clothes and bandages were lying in the room. At that time, Mrs Hall saw that the hat kept up from the bedpost and dashed itself into her face. Then the bedroom chair became alive. It was pushed them out of the room. They turned away in terror from the room.

Ans : In Drury Lane,  Griffin felt very cold without clothes. He found a suitable shop there. He entered the shop to wear something.  He came out wearing bandages around his forehead, dark glasses, false nose,  big bushy side-whiskers and a large hat .To escape without being seen,  he callously attacked the shopkeeper from behind and robbed his all money. These were Griffin’s experience in Drury Lane.

      The actual name of Bill was Oliver Lutkins . When he knew that the lawyer wanted to meet him, he himself introduced the  lawyer as Bill to befool him .He told him that he knew Lutkins and would help him finding Lutkins. The lawyer hired his huck and fixed the fare at two dolars per hour. He took him to various places in search of Lutkins. But they did not find Lutkins . This was because Bill had managed the people to tell lies the lawyer . Finally he left the lawyer at the New Mullion Station. Thus, Bill befooled the lawyer.
